Ian completed level 6 in swimming this week. This is quite an accomplishment since he started at level 1 last year and could hardly swim without sinking. I had started him in swimming lessons when he was in kindergarten but really struggled. So, when we moved here it was nearly 2 years before we signed him up again and he'd pretty much forgotten everything that he had learned, and had to start all the way from the beginning. He was definitely the oldest and biggest kid in level 1, but motored on up through each level and only having to repeat 1 level. Now he has the option to enroll into the pre-competition class and then the youth aquatic team.

You have a fish on your hands! Good job Ian!
That's great! We just enrolled our 3 oldest in level 1. They don't swim well either. They really like it, but are not looking forward to going off the diving board. Maybe Ian can tell them it's not so bad.
Sounds like he is doing great! I finally had to put my two oldest in a private swim school because they weren't progressing in the public pool lessons.
Way to go Ian!! That is awesome.
