We have a winner
Ian won 2nd place at the pinewood derby on Tuesday evening. I was just glad he had a car to race. Dad procrastinated until the day before the race to begin working on the car. Our race this year was an adventure. Our cubmaster received a call the night before the race and was told that they refinished the floors in the gym and no one was allowed in the gym for 10 days. We ended up having the first part of the race outside but due to rain we all scrammbled inside and finished the race in the hall/primary room. Frustrating for the leaders but the boys had a great time!

Congratulations to Ian!! we have one more year before we are involved with the Pinewood Derby again. Joseph procrastinates with the cars too. Once, J.J. came close to racing a block of wood with wheels, but they got it done.

This is Terri. Good for Ian (and Jeff) on their Pinewood Derby efforts. John lost a couple of fingers to the table saw helping Bobby with his Pinewood Derby car. It wasn't pretty. I have a deep love for Cub Scouts..my favorite calling in the Church, next to teaching seminary. It's great fun working with those little cubbers!
